After an accelerated day of comprehensive Christian counseling in a marriage intensive, you will be equipped with many of the same faith-based, research-backed tools it typically takes months for me to teach couples in weekly sessions.

First, I collect your relationship history and outline the main problems. Then, you will each have the opportunity to speak with me privately to share unfiltered concerns. We will come back together to learn healthy communication skills and establish realistic relationship goals.

First three hour session

Here 's What a Marriage Intensive Looks Like:

Marriage Intensives are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays. Every marriage intensive is uniquely designed to fit your specific needs. This intensive requires full engagement from both partners to achieve the most meaningful transformation. This is an example:

One hour break

You can use this time to collect your thoughts & feelings, regulate your nervous systems, and reflect on our conversation so far. You may have a few worksheets to complete during the break, intentionally chosen to address your specific challenges.

During this time, I am identifying your unique relationship cycle and creating a toolbox just for you two of exercises and resources that you can use in every day life beyond our session.

Final three hour session

You will learn how to recognize your cycle and break patterns. You will understand how you each contribute to the relationship dynamic. You will deepen your understanding of both of your triggers and unmet needs. You will both be given tools chosen specifically for each of you so you can make tangible changes immediately. At the end, there is time for reflection and prayer.

After the intensive, you'll receive a personalized plan. It will detail my observations and recommendations for your next steps as individuals and as a couple (it may suggest readings, EMDR, or additional therapy tailored to you.) You'll also get guidance on prayers and verses so you can continue getting closer to God and each other.

And because I want you to have long-term support and a successful marriage, you'll gain free lifetime access to the Christian Marriage Academy online course (a $1,297 value). It has video recordings you can access anytime during your relationship. You can revisit key concepts and strategies whenever you need a refresher.

Mini-workshops are 3 hour marathon sessions and are available on weekdays or Saturdays. These are NOT designed for couples in significant distress, but are perfect for the couple who can't attend sessions on weekdays, can't commit to weekly sessions, or just prefer to meet once a month instead of once a week. Inside of a mini-workshop you will reconnect, learn healthy communication skills, build the foundation for a God-centered marriage, and address your specific challenges in safe, non-judgmental space.
